A Bit about Your Counselor

JenniferI received a Bachelor’s Degree from Boise State University in 2008 where I majored in English with a Writing Emphasis. While working at the BSU Writing Center where I helped my peers through the sometimes tortuous writing process I realized my greatest passion was helping people find the courage to face the stuff that sometimes gets in our way.

I began my studies at Northwest Nazarene University in the Marriage & Family Counseling track in 2009. Throughout my Practicum and Internship experience I had the pleasure of working with a variety of clients: children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

I am married to my best friend and together we have a young daughter. Most of our days consist of singing the alphabet song at the top of our lungs, coloring, and reading. I have a passion for DIY projects, reading, and watching movies.

I have experience and training in the following areas:

Depression

Anxiety

Trauma

Bipolar Disorder

Borderline Personality Disorder

Life Transitions

Marital and Pre-Marital Issues

Body Image

Parenting

Relationships
